Amanda, 30, is a homemaker-homeschooler. She grew up near San Jose, California and has lived in Florida, Nevada, and Texas. Amanda is our Lip/Body Butters maker and all-around craft guru.
Ashley, 34, works in Broadcasting and in her spare time is an MMORPG gamer. She grew up near Little Rock, Arkansas and has lived in Florida and Italy. Ashley is our Soap-maker and "webmistress" (web site manager).
Mara, 32, is our sales representative. Living near Santa Clara, California, she books our craft shows and promotes the products through meet-and-greets. Mara and Amanda have been life-long friends. Mara works with a mortgage company and has over 10 years of administrative experience.
Selva Madre came about because while we all enjoy the comfort of technological and scientific advancement, there's something to be said for good old fashioned simplicity and hand crafted care. Our desire was to create simple, healthy products using quality ingredients and basic recipes. And while we're at it, pass along helpful links and information for other eco-friendly people like ourselves.
